It is a pale yellowish powder melting point 81℃ soluble in benzene,toluene, ethyl acetate and petroleum ether, slightly soluble in ethyl alcohol and methyl alcohol insoluble in water.
It is a excellent ultraviolet absorbet, UV max:345nm, solubility for polymer is good,volatility is little, mainly used for PE, PP,PS,PVC, poly ester and ABS resins, and so on.
